Location: Home based, with extensive field travel required. Open to candidates based in Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Germany, close to a major airport hub. HeartFlow is seeking a dynamic and proactive Director of Medical Education and Customer Engagement to join our EMEA team. This strategic role is pivotal in driving physician engagement, medical education, and marketing initiatives across a fast-paced and fast-growing market. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in the medical device industry in similar roles ideally in medium large medical device companies but ready to thrive in a startup-like environment. They will demonstrate a self-starter mentality, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and creativity. This is an exciting opportunity to shape customer engagement strategies, elevate HeartFlow's presence, and drive impactful educational initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Congress Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive customer engagement roadmap, integrating congresses, workshops, and training programs at local and regional levels. Manage the entire lifecycle of congresses, including identifying opportunities, building vendor relationships, faculty identification and contracting, and overseeing logistics. Collaborate with booth builders to create impactful, brand-aligned booths and ensure seamless on-site execution. Develop and coordinate marketing collateral and promotional materials to support congress participation and engagement. Serve as the main point of contact for faculty, ensuring they are prepared with compelling presentations and educational content. Ensure a strong on-site presence, leading the team to deliver an exceptional experience for attendees and faculty. Content Creation & Strategic Marketing: Lead the development of content aligned with HeartFlow's business objectives, including educational materials, promotional campaigns, and marketing assets. Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to create impactful campaigns that amplify engagement opportunities and generate buzz. Identify innovative marketing channels and strategies to elevate HeartFlow's visibility and influence. Physician Engagement & Training Programs: Plan and execute local and regional physician training initiatives, including workshops, dinner programs, and hands-on sessions. Collaborate with the U. S. team to manage physician contracts and ensure alignment with global strategies. Engage with distributors and sales teams to identify and support training opportunities in key markets. Internal Training & Collaboration: Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams to enhance their understanding of HeartFlow's technology and its value proposition. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align educational and engagement efforts. Stakeholder Collaboration & Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between HeartFlow and external partners, including creative agencies, booth builders, and other vendors. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, sales teams, and regional stakeholders to identify opportunities and execute initiatives effectively. Metrics & Reporting: Measure the impact of educational and marketing initiatives, analyzing data to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement. Plan and report on budget and other key performance indicators to ensure alignment with regional and global objectives. Key Qualifications: 10 years of experience in the medical device industry in medical education, marketing, or related roles. Dynamic, proactive, and self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Proven track record of managing the lifecycle of congresses, from identifying opportunities to execution and follow-up. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and regions. Experience in planning and executing congresses, physician training programs, and educational workshops. Familiarity with working in a fast-growing market and managing distributor relationships. Excellent fluency in English; additional languages relevant to EMEA markets (e. g. , Spanish, Italian, or Polish) are a plus. Region of Focus: This position will focus on HeartFlow's EMEA region.
