Medical Excellence Manager (Maternity Leave)
Join our Oncology Business Unit as a Medical Excellence Manager, where you'll have the opportunity to optimize the Medical Affairs Oncology (MAO) processes and develop team skills.
Reporting to the Oncology Medical Evidence and Medical Excellence Head, you'll help adopt quality and compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
This role is a unique opportunity to strengthen the processes and tools that improve the relationships between the MAO Team and the KEEs, ensuring proactive interaction with the Medical Excellence Global team.
As a Medical Excellence Manager, you'll contribute to the delivery of development programs, supporting the team to achieve high performance and recognition as credible players in the Scientific Community.
You'll also contribute to the development of team capabilities, facilitate cross OBU/BBU alignment on MedEx activities at the country level, and manage local Medical Excellence projects.
You'll ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately while encouraging teamwork and collaboration amongst the team.
Accountabilities: Contributing to the delivery of development programmes in order to support the Team to achieve high performance and recognition as credible players in the Scientific Community Contributing to the development of the Team capabilities (i. e.
capabilities for scientific exchange; customer insight collection and dissemination; strategic relationships with medical and scientific experts) In collaboration with the Oncology Medical Evidence and Excellence Head and MAOLT contribute to develop content and metrics for periodical reporting requirements contributes to the local dissemination and implementation of Global MedEx activities, projects and tools Act as contact point with Medical Omnichannel Network Meetings, ensuring Country proactive contribution and local dissemination and implementation of digital and omnichannel activities/projects Facilitate TAs and cross OBU/BBU alignment on MedEx activities at Country level and manages local Medical Excellence projects Contributes to the design and/or give valuable input on new processes, or simplify existing ones, in response to internal and external environmental changes.
Assist in identifying areas of improvements in processes, develops recommendations / plan / Job aid, and lead initiative as locally required Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately Encourage teamwork and collaboration amongst the team Effectively applies AZ methodology and enforces project standards, implementing AZ standards and promoting the sharing of best practice Manage all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience: Scientific/Management Engineering or similar Degree Experience within Medical Affairs dept.
of a Pharma Company, preferably in oncology Leadership capabilities Excellent interpersonal skills Project management experience Experience in relationship and stakeholder management experience Proficiency in spoken English Digital Savvy Be a valuable example of AZ values&behaviours Desirable Skills/Experience: Medical or PhD Degree Knowledge of basic research, clinical environment, regulatory requirements Ready to make an impact?
