Job Details

Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties

- Provides medical and scientific product and disease state expertise to internal and external stakeholders (incl. , medical educational events, scientific meetings, grand rounds etc.

)

- Identifies, profiles, and tracks leading physicians and scientists with an emphasis on product portfolio priorities; engages with KOLs for various strategic goals.

- Builds upon existing KOL relationships to seek answers to medical, scientific and strategic questions with regards to product development, clinical research studies, competitive landscape and portfolio development.

- Assists in identifying clinical educational needs, helps guide the development of educational and training materials and provides scientific and medical training to internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintains up-to-date knowledge by regularly reviewing the pertinent clinical/scientific literature, attending medical congresses, gathering competitive intelligence information.

- Assists with field-support for research endeavors in the assigned region, e. g. , selection of clinical sites and principal investigators for planned clinical trials, site initiation etc.

- Channels research requests and unsolicited proposals for medical initiatives and research opportunities for Investigator Initiated Trials within the Haemonetics Grants programs.

MSL (Vascular Closure):

- B. Sc.

(or equivalent) and secondary/advanced degree required

- At least 5 years of professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field required

- Previous MSL or other field medical experience strongly preferred, ideally in catheter-based cardiovascular medical devices (interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, electrophysiology)

- Thorough understanding of the assigned product portfolio, relevant literature and clinical practices; familiarity with device-specific regulations, scientific methodologies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
