Merchandise Manager (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English Speaking
Project Management of our sponsor merchandise programmes pre-event and onsite.
Working with iLUKA creative and client team to plan and deliver client sponsor merchandise programme.
This role requires an individual with strong project management skills and merchandise experience, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. We will have roles starting throughout 2025, this is a contract role that will end in March 2026. Key Responsibilities:Management of sponsor merchandise programmes from product sourcing to onsite delivery – including shipping, customs and warehouse logisticsDevise and manage project timeline, reviewing programme critical path and deadline dates to ensure timely delivery of all merchandise elementsClient budget management, from development to final reconciliation ensuring programme is delivered within the budgetSource product and negotiate prices with suppliersCreate presentations and storyboards for client sell inDevelop and manage effective client and supplier relationshipsManage the logistics of merchandise international shippingUnderstand local taxes and shipping regulations, to ensure complianceFacilitate product approvals with client and relevant organising bodiesProvide regular reports for iLUKA relationship management and client teamsAdhere to professional confidentiality standards, company policies, procedures and practices, maintaining the highest level of integrity regarding client management, and confidential information at all timesDevise and manage onsite delivery of merchandise, using local warehousing with the support of games time team. Team uniform managementThis is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary. Skills, Knowledge, Expertise:Fluent in Italian and EnglishComplex project management experienceKnowledge of licensingEvent Management experience, understanding of merchandise role within a client programmeExpert excel user and Technology proficient (Word, PPT, data etc.
