New Guards Group is looking for a Merchandising Intern to join the Merchandising department.
S/he will participate in the daily life of Opening Ceremony and the Digital brands from a merchandising standpoint and support the Collection Merchandiser.
Main Tasks
- Analyze the performance of the collections, support the definition of merchandising grids and development of the new collection based onthe needs of the market, the trends and the strategic vision of the brands
- Support in monitoring collection development and collaborate constantly with the product and Importante Azienda teams to ensure adherence to the merchandising plan shared at the start of the collection
- Collaborate by supporting the collection development process in order to achieve the company's marginality targets
- Support in the Benchmarking Analysis:
competitors, positioning and market trends.
Qualitative and quantitative sales feedback by actively monitoring market trends in order to identify product opportunities and participate in making recommendations
Profilo
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or similar, a Master's is a plus
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a luxury fashion brand is a plus
Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken, this will be tested in the interview process
Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
Strong product sensitivity, passion for fashion, awareness of brands different traits and iconic products
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
