We are looking for a MGSE DESIGNER.

The MGSE Designer develop the following activities:

- Study and define the overall MGSE (H/W & S/W) architecture

- Prepare MGSE (H/W & S/W) Technical and Procurement Specification and SOW

- Create 3d catia model for mgse for programs and facilities within Space rules and laws

- Generation of 2D parts drawings in CATIA

- Generation of 2D assembly drawings in CATIA

- Generation of required model for thermal and mechanical analyses inputs

- Participate to procurement process (Supplier Selection)

- Define and consolidate budget for MGSE procurement

- RdA Emission

- Monitoring of MGSE procurement (Design Reviews and Acceptance Test Reviews)

- Ensure Availability of MGSE according to AIT schedule

- Ensure MGSE /H/W and S/W)Validation on site

- Support CAM and ait Mgr for Cost & Schedule control as applicable for MGSE procurement

Requirements for the position

- High School Diploma (Aeronautical or mechanical specialization) preferred, Mechanical engineering

degree (or equivalent)

- Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD tools (CATIA preferred) for Mechanical Design

- Knowledge of relevant drawing standards

- Knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing best practice

- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (metals and composites) and how these affect design.

The following would be an asset:

- Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment with project pressures.

- Experience within a similar field, automotive or aerospace

- Experience with CATIA V5, Femap, Nastran, Patran

- 5 and more years of experience in related field
