**About the Business

Our Destination Management services form the core of our business.

**About the Role

The vacancy is for a role within our busy Rome Destination Office, where the team handle MICE tours, Technical Visits & Premier tours and support our global sales functions by providing quick confirmation with attractive conditions and offer the solution and ideas to MICE and Premier tours.

To assist with the delivery of a first-class service to all Specialist Tours including MICE and direct sales associated with Italy.

Assisting in the management of the end-to-end process with the MICE team and Manager.

This shall be done with a strong focus on revenue, customer satisfaction, and high quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with the Manager on all phases of the project or tour (including quotation support & optimization)

- Manage and operate your own specialist tours when needed, including itinerary and revenue checks

- Join on site inspections & Client meetings

- Onsite support for key MICE and specialist groups

- Source and promote high end/niche products

- Provide active and ongoing support and knowledge transfer to the Kuoni Tumlare sales organization.

- Undertake project work as required

- Investigate and resolve service complaints issues

- Pre/Post season analysis and recommendations (coordinated with Procurement)

**We are looking for a person who has**:

- Previous experience/working knowledge in the MICE or Tourism industry for at least 5 years

- Previous assistant Project management experience as a plus

- Proven ability to build strong customer and supplier relationships

- Commercial mindset and Sales driven

- Entrepreneurial and creative approach for effective problem resolution

- Fluent in Italian and English, with strong verbal and written skills, any additional language(s) are advantageous

- Willingness to travel up to 25% & to work irregular working hours (evenings, weekends)

- Deep knowledge of the Italian territory and what it can offer in terms of MICE services

- Team player, team builder, ability to work both in group situations and also as an individual

- Excellent at multitasking and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

- Strong planning and execution skills

- Excellent project and time management skills
