_Midsummer Italy_is now preparing to start up the production facility in Bari and are currently looking for a Quality Manager EHS.

**Job description**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Revise and review specifications for products or processes

- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as Italian legal obligations.

- Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with Italian safety regulations.

- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.

- Developing and implementing quality standards.

- Developing and implementing quality control systems.

- Monitoring and analysing quality performance.

- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

- Keep in contact with certifiers and handle factory inspections.

- Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.

- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven experience as quality manager, quality engineer, quality assurance, or a similar role.

- Proven experience of the manufacturing industry, preferably a growing manufacturing industry

- Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.

- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant Italian legal standards

- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.

)

- ASQ certification preferred.

- Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.

- Conscientious and responsible

- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and having a flexible approach in order to solve issues and move forward.

- Excellent project management skills.
