MLOps Engineer – Data Science & AI (Milan/Italy) We are looking for an MLOps Engineer to join the Data Science & AI team of a leading telecommunications company in Italy.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, collaborating with Data Science and Machine Learning experts as well as key decision-makers.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in industrializing AI solutions, optimizing ML workflows, and enhancing the operational efficiency of the team by applying MLOps, DevOps, and software engineering best practices.

Company & Requirements Company: End User / Telco Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience Skills: MLOps, DevOps, Google Cloud Platform, Machine Learning, Python, SQL, Shell, Docker, Terraform, Git, MLflow, Airflow, Scikit-learn, Data Pipelines, Model Deployment, Microservices, Distributed Computing, Feature Engineering, CI/CD, Task Orchestration, Monitoring, Cloud Infrastructure Tasks - Collaborate with Data Scientists to translate business opportunities into scalable and efficient ML workflows.

- Optimize, refactor, and re-engineer data pipelines and machine learning models to enhance performance and maintainability.

- Lead the industrialization of ML models, including orchestration, model serving, monitoring, and deployment in production environments.

- Implement and maintain MLOps best practices, ensuring automation and standardization of ML processes.

- Drive the evolution of ML automation architectures, improving operational efficiency across the team.

- Ensure seamless model deployment on microservices architectures and integration into cloud environments.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, IT Operations, and Business Units, to ensure smooth ML model deployment and scalability.

- Manage and optimize data sources, including structured and unstructured data from internal databases, external APIs, real-time streams, and cloud storage.

Skills & Experience - Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in Software Engineering - 3+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or Machine Learning Engineering roles.

- Expertise in MLOps methodologies, including development, deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines for ML applications.

- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.

- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and experience with distributed computing architectures.

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Terraform, Git, MLflow, Airflow, Scikit-learn.

- Solid understanding of modern ML algorithms, data processing, feature engineering, and model lifecycle management.
