Mobile & On-Board Technical Delivery Project Manager
Within our Digital Technology Department, the Mobile & On-board Technical Delivery Project Manager is responsible for managing all technological aspects related to specific streams/projects as part of the MSC for Me, our industry-first cross-channel digital tech.platform designed to enhance the guest's experience across the entire customer journey. This key position collaborates with a technology team consisting of several internal resources and a large pool of external consultants and is responsible for the overall management of the assigned project (including change requests/enhancements analysis, design and development, systems operations, monitoring, maintenance, incident management, continuous improvement, etc. ). This role involves working on a broad and diverse scope and innovative technologies, covering both pre-boarding and onboarding phases. It is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and to participate actively in the operation and evolution of the MSC for Me. Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end streams/projects, ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives within budget, scope, and timeline; Manage demand: interact with business owners to identify and satisfy their needs and priorities, translating functional requirements into technical requirements; Conduct preliminary feasibility analyses, provide guidance during the identification of the best solution architectures; Create and regularly update comprehensive project plans, proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; monitor project progress and provide regular status updates and reports to the manager; Interact with other company departments and build strong relationships with teams and internal/external stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange. Minimum Requirements: Master/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering. Fluent in English and Italian; any other language is an advantage; Solid experience, at least 10 years of technical project management/digital transformation, in complex enterprise environments is mandatory; Specific experience in web, mobile, and integration architectures with a proven track record of success. Former experience in technical development, either back-end or front-end is an advantage with expertise in Flutter/React Native technologies and Adobe CMS a strong advantage; Expertise in modern software delivery models and processes (i. e. , Agile, DevOps); Knowledge of the Atlassian suite – Jira, and Confluence; Understanding of cyber security best practices and the ability to work closely with the company's cyber security department to ensure data security and privacy; Working understanding of both cloud and on-premise environments and associated technologies; Real team-player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable in dealing with colleagues and partners with different roles and backgrounds; Availability to travel, up to 20% on an annual basis (mainly on-board ships and in Geneva offices); The role is based in MSC Crociere SPA Naples office, with hybrid work (max. 2 days on a weekly basis). VISA REQUIREMENTS: Right to work in Italy.
