Role Purpose If you are innovative and curious join the Detailed Planning & Optimization team in the Vodafone Italy Technology Network Development department!As a Mobile Access Transmission & Backhauling Planning Team Leader, you will manage a team to build both annual and long-range Italy plans according to strategy, engineering and financial guidelines. Furthermore, your focus will be to ensure outstanding customer experience through transmission optimization processes.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Coaching, developing and empowering team resources.

Defining Fiber to the sites and Microwave links budget needs using smart capex process.

Interacting with Strategy e Financial department to design strategies to be implemented in the Italy access transmission domain.

Supporting Network Strategy Engineering department defining hardware and configuration guidelines also through vendor management processes.

Drivingcost reduction initiatives through microwave frequency fee management and site sharing initiatives.

Be a pivotal role for Network Delivery regions

Be accountable of top-rated mobile network KPI through transmission optimization and supporting Network Operations department teams.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

Relevant higher education in ICT field

5+ years of technical experience in international and highly complex organized structures

Knowledge of whole transmission architecture of a convergent Telco, in particular mobile access transmission network

Deep knowledge of access transmission backhauling network, in particular fiber and microwaves

Vendor specific microwave hardware knowledge is considered as a plus

Data analysis approach and strong attitude to problem solving

Project management & Financial skills

Fluent in English is considered as a plus
