OverviewManaged Mobile is seeking a tech level 1-4 OR an "Advanced Level" Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing medium/heavy-duty trucks. The chosen candidate will work independently from a fully equipped service vehicle, which includes a smartphone, computer diagnostic tools, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and support equipment, safety gear, and all necessary supplies and parts to complete assigned tasks. The technician will carry out scheduled repairs with a strategic approach, following industry best practices and adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures. ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO:Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, along with preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks covering all major vehicle systems including engines, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical components, and computer systems. Trailer repair work will consist of PMs and minimal repair work when necessary. Equipment repair will consist of lift gates, and Power take off (PTO's) along with some transmission units and hydraulic hoses. Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to provide on-site services at customer locations. Adapt to various tasks throughout the day based on evolving business needs and priorities. Be available and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours of overtime per week. QualificationsWHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:Valid Drivers License and clean driving record. Must be able to pass drug and background checksMobile Truck Technician experience – at least 2 yearsSkilled mastery in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics. Ability to weld is preferredRepairs on A/C recovery machine work is preferredJourneyman level repair experience on Class 6-8 diesel engines. Demonstrates a strong independent work ethic and a responsible, dependable character. Punctual, reliable, and maintains a positive attitude. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an advanced-level mechanic/technician.
