No Offer Description The research activity will be carried out in the framework of the NEST project, Spoke02 (Offshore Energy and Energy Harvesting), which envisages, within the WP2. 1, the conceptual development of innovative floating platforms, wind energy converters and wind farm control strategies, specifically conceived for the Mediterranean Sea.
The study will use simulation models with varying degrees of accuracy to predict the influence of the wake on the turbine performance and blade stress.
Control criteria for performance optimisation will also be tested.
Assessment Assessment will be based on academic qualifications and an oral examination.
