Molecular Account Executive
Primary Function
Molecular Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory.
The role includes acting as an advisor/consultant to customers.
The Account Manager is responsible for retention & value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.
Major Responsibilities New business acquisition Renewals of expiring contracts or new tenders issued by existing customers as well as price negotiations ensuring customers have the right prices Establish value propositions and build business cases Post-sale involvement with customers Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departments Serve customer requests and forward them to the respective Service department on technical and applicational questions Become an advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and/or design Work actively in the CRM system keeping customer data up to date, reporting activities and market data.
Act as the single point of contact that responds to customers promptly.
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
Background Experience from IVD laboratory diagnostics business Experience in sales preferable but not mandatory if having strong experience in the molecular diagnostic field Experience in the molecular laboratory field is mandatory Strong experience in maintaining and developing customer relationships Native in local language/English & other languages advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
