Position SummaryPolo GGB is seeking a qualified postdoctoral molecular researcher to join the Genomics & Bioinformatics Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Rosa Giglio (Senior Researcher) and Dr. Chiara Leo (Senior Bioinformatician). The candidate's activities will focus on molecular biology and genomics with particular emphasis on the development of molecular biology assays based on CRISPR-Cas technology and cloning. Preparation of detailed technical notes and presentations of experimental results. The candidate will conduct all activities in compliance with the requirements of Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). RequirementsPh. D.

in Molecular Biology or a closely related field. Proven expertise in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, nucleic acid extraction, cloning, CRISPR-Cas systems. Demonstrated proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation, evidenced by first-author publications in quality journals. Personal SkillsHighly motivated to engage in cutting-edge research and publish in top-tier journals. Ability to independently plan, conduct, and analyze experiments. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical abilities. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

Knowledge of Italian is advantageous but not required. Start Date: Positions available immediately. Employment duration: Two years, with a possibility of extension contingent on funding.
