Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career?
We are looking for a** Motorsport Power Units and Electronics **to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically reports to the **Head of Racing Cars Development**.
You will be responsible to develop the race car Power Unit (ICE+HY) from the concept phase to the final validation of the car and to develop the electronics architecture concept, hardware/software development and loom design.
You will be responsible to finalize a power unit SW/HW definition and to implement a robust SW development and management.
- Participate to the engine and electronics motorsport projects with a special focus on vehicle dynamic functions.
- Develop software functions in compliance with the regulation
- Support the engine/electronics performance targets working closely with other R&D Squadra Corse department.
- Work to build a software architecture concept to achieve the best performance and reliability of the Power Unit.
- Prepare the run plan and the targets for indoor dyno test on the Power Unit (ICE+HY).
- Provide data from the Power Unit to the other R&D department to fulfill the targets in terms of cooling.
- Improve the general methodology and approach to the LMDh-like cars in terms of layout, simulation and validation of the model.
- Steer activities related to indoor testing and on track
**About you
- University degree in software Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience
- Experience as Technical Responsible or Engine Engineer in Motorsport Environment
- R&D Automotive background
- Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory
- Technical knowledge in Motorsport
- Motorsport Technical Regulation knowledge
- Problem solving attitude
