Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.

We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Supervisor in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Shop will be responsible to provide direction and assistance to employees in the assigned area in order to meet safety and quality goals, production targets, applied hours and DLE like budgeted.

**Essential responsibilities**:

- Review daily activities to achieve the highest EHS levels in the assigned area, maintain the highest standards of quality and at same time guarantee the production schedules, customer satisfaction and cost goals

- You will use your experience and technical expertise to solve problems, take decisions on production flow with impact on short and medium term objectives

- Give technical support to the team and take short term decision

- Provide support in scheduling resources, facilitating the flow of materials to meet customer needs

- Practice sound human relations and communications skills in order to motivate the assigned work force

- Ensure strong monitoring of working areas in terms of housekeeping

- Assist Cell Ldr to make decisions in areas of process improvement and/or production to make appropriate resource decisions (manpower, fixtures, methods, scheduling) to facilitate the flow of units through the MRO process

- Support Lean/Material management teams on process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses

- Drive activities based on compliance, safety, quality and productivity improvements

- Support all company workplace policies including attendance and safety objectives

**Qualification/Requirements**:

- Engineering Master's Degree from an accredited University or High school technical diploma with a strong and proven experience in Aviation MRO business

- Able to read and understand technical drawings

- Familiarity with assembly and line inspection processes

- Strong team building skills

- Good English and Italian language knowledge

- Good computer skills

- Knowledge about lean tools (ex.

5S, golden zone)

- Good knowledge about manufacturing pull system (heijunka, kanban, )

- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
