Within JSC's Planning & Customer Management team, at Janssen-Cilag SPA, we're looking for the lead of the manufacturing planning team of the Latina Plant, a fast growing organization in charge of manufacturing the future product portfolio of Janssen.
The **MRP & Planning Manager** is responsible for production planning, capacity analysis, inventory management (inventory value management and SLOB management) in the Manufacturing Area as well as for material requirements planning and transactional purchasing.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Own the definition of the production plan, scheduling and materials requirements plan taking into account operations efficiency, inventory and customer service needs
- Define scenarios to support management decisions
- Proactively identify constraints or potential issues and develop options for resolution, follow up on escalated items that may impact the supply and provide updates in the appropriate forums
- Own the supply chain performance indicators for the designed product portfolio and take preventive and corrective actions to improve them
- Lead the team by developing, training, mentoring, and redefining people capabilities
- Maintain and develop the relationship with various critical partners (E2E planners, Master data team, Finance, MTO, VSL, QA, QC)
- Drive initiatives to improve planning processes by partnering with internal and external partners to help identify and drive improvements on delivery, cost, and reliability
- Exploit new and sophisticated digital technologies in the planning area and contribute to implement them in the department
**Qualifications
Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field required
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- 7+ years experience in Supply Chain management
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) and Italian (local language)
- Strength in interdependent partnering and people management
- Ability to deliver process harmonization and improvement
- Ability to lead and prioritize multiple initiatives and work in a dynamic environment where priorities change rapidly
- Establishes effective communications and common goals and objectives
- Ability to partner with and influence others; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments at all levels
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and financial knowledge
- Serve as a role model for Credo based decision making
- ERP Knowledge
**Preferred**:
- Experience in both in manufacturing planning and manufacturing operations
- Experience in other areas of manufacturing plant operations
- Experience in managing external clients
- Experience with SAP and OMP
- APICS Certification
