In Italy, Janssen SpA (located in Borgo San Michele - Latina) is looking for a **MRP Planner** to be enrolled in the Production Plant with a permanent contract.
The **MRP Planner** will be responsible for:
- Ensure the procurement of direct materials in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as with the tax and legal regulations in force, optimizing price, quality and service factors
- Analyze the requirements of direct materials and manage the release of purchase requests, the issuance of purchase orders and their follow-up on the basis of the conditions agreed in the order itself
- Promptly inform the requesting user of any changes made by the supplier in terms of quantities, delivery dates and / or other logístical / commercial terms
- Inventory management (SLOB, etc)
- Provide the necessary support to the corporate functions most impacted by their own developed activities, such as the Planning, Finance, Warehouse, QA / QC, Technical Services office
- Support the drafting of the annual budget for direct material purchases, in terms of quantity, in order to meet the company needs deriving from the production program
- Expedites and secures parts needed for production by the time they are scheduled for production
- Participates in meetings discussing production schedules for new products
- Managing cross department activities
**Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or education in Technical/Operations field
- At least 3 years of experience in Planning with following Supply Chain Processes (direct materials procurement, inventory management, supply chain management, supply planning, ) is required
- Highly process oriented with an interest/aptitude in supply management
- Ability to collaborate with and influence others in a matrix environment required
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneous in a context with changing priorities and short deadlines
- Continuous improvement, results oriented mindset
- Data analytics mentality: critical ability to be curious, to look across significant amount of data and information, identify trends, correlations, opportunities and risks to develop supply chain scenarios
- Knowledge of SAP systems (SAP R/3, APO, BW), OMP and Process Excellence methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) are preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.
)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language (B2 level and above)
