Jefferson Wells is looking for a MSL Haematology - Nord West on behalf of a biotech/pharma company (territories: Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria).

The MSL will be responsible for executing strategic medical activities at the regional/area level in alignment with national initiatives and the Global Medical Plan.

The MSL will serve as the first point of contact for any medical/scientific aspect or issue related to the assigned products/therapeutic area (TA) and will work closely with the MSLs Manager, the Medical Director, the medical team, and all relevant company functions (local and HQ) to efficiently manage the appropriate triage for accountabilities in order to optimally satisfy customers' needs.

The MSL will proactively manage medical scientific stakeholders and create value for patients through stakeholder engagement, medical scientific projects, and scientific communications.

The MSL will initiate planned medical activities including scientific presentations, discussions of clinical data and programs, presentations of medical value proposition concepts, and educational programs.

The MSL acts as the point of contact with external experts in the context of clinical trials, providing adequate scientific support during company-sponsored trials and facilitating investigator-initiated study (IIS) ideas and requests for support to the local, regional, and global medical teams as appropriate.

This role will require the MSL to identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical scientific experts.

The MSL will deliver high-quality medical and scientific communication externally and internally in line with defined plans, continuously contributing to the accomplishment of Pharmacovigilance requirements and providing support to local clinical research programs.

The MSL will provide field feedback as appropriate through dynamic stakeholder engagement and support the local organization in the development of medical tactics, providing input to the local account plan if necessary.

Furthermore, the MSL will execute the stakeholder engagement plans to ensure that the company's technology is granted access at the local level and facilitate the appropriate use of this technology.

Location

This function is typically field-based, with at least 70% of an individual's time spent working in the field.

This is subject to local needs and the discretion of the affiliate medical director.
