Mx Marketing Product Data Analyst
Position Summary
Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions. Analyse and interpret dataset from different sources, identify opportunities in the market and implement the best solution for maximizing the sales quality. Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of product marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports. Advises other marketing functions as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insightful analysis on the forecast, sellin/sellout for Samsung products.
- Develop dashboards and conduct analysis highlighting Performances and KPIs for Sales, Channel stocks, Sellout, Forecast, and participate in the continuous improvement plans.
- Analyse external and internal customer data using database queries, spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
- Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments.
- Analyse the trend of sell-out from each channel / POS, detect the possible stock-out channel, sales order status, and suggest the proper supply plan or allocation to sales team.
- Constantly monitor technological and competitors trends and movement and suggest proper actions to marketing team
- Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
- Prepare portfolio analysis, business report doc and portfolio planning roadmap.
- Prepare pricelist and product benchmarks
- Overlook to product performance, Identify and implement sell-out activities to boost sales in each channel.
- Support sales and support by leading the development and maintenance of appropriate collateral including user guides, presentations, marketing content and demos
- Act as product lead and evangelist for Samsung products across variety of mobile devices and operating systems;
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Educational Background: Masters / Bachelor preferably with Economical / Marketing specialization.
Professional Background: 2 years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent)
Computer Knowledge: Good skills of main office automation software and market analysis tools.
Language Knowledge: Very good written English; good spoken English.
Others : strong analytic skills - desirable specific product knowledge.
