Named Account Manager

**The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a Named Account Manager, Enterprise for Italy.
As the Named Account Manager, you are responsible for selling Nutanix Products and Solutions through Channel Partners (VAR/GSI) and interacting directly with customers.
You will also be working closely with a Pre-Sales Manager engaging with your named accounts.
Essential to success in this role is a keen ability to develop new accounts and to penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts, engaging with the large ecosystem of Enterprise Infrastructure solutions of partners and alliances.
Nutanix provides unrivalled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals.
In this position, you would be working very closely with the country manager but also the top executive fo the company VPs and have a large amount of influence on sales team decisions and initiatives.

**Your Role
- As a Named Account Manager, you will be a crucial player within the Nutanix field sales team to drive net new business sales into large, new strategic accounts.
You will engage with IT organisations and line of businesses and organise the accounting of some of the largest companies in Italy.
- Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within partner and alliance organisations penetrate new divisions and organisations within preferred partner account
- Develop new selling relationships within assigned partner account; develop new direct selling routes
- Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect in a partner organisation.
- Utilising a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospects and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs.
- Respond to RFP's and follow up with prospects.
- Develop an account plan to sell to customers based on their business needs and extend the reach of Nutanix in the organisation (beyond Infrastructure, beyond IT).
- Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects.
- Recommend Account-based marketing strategies.
- Provide status information to your Manager, including forecast/pipeline information.
- Provide or facilitate training opportunities for your accounts.
- Identify Nutanix customer references that can be utilised when reference selling.
- Provide product feedback back to engineering to improve Nutanix complete block solutions
**What You Will Bring
- Proven sales track record of success selling technology into Large Named Accounts in Enterprise segment located in North Italy.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems as well as the competitive landscape.
- Ability to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges and Nutanix data management storage solutions.
- Experience using SFDC and other CRM software.
- Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
- Have led a virtual team of sales-oriented employees,
- Strong coaching experience
- Success in building channels
- Strong stage presence and ability to engage and persuade (Press experience desirable) Fluency in Italian and English is required for this role
