JR67952 NAND Cell Array Device Engineer - InternshipThe mission of a device engineer working in the Process and Device Technology Development group at Micron Technology Inc. is to analyze, model, and improve the device electrical characteristics for the next generation of NAND technologies in order to meet the performance and reliability specifications required for NAND products within project timelines. Job Profile for this Internship:Understanding NAND cell physics and array-device operations algorithms, performance, and reliability requirements. Defining and executing new testing flows to measure critical cell array electrical characteristics and define automatic electrical monitors for volume production. Building physical models of new cell array electrical evidence in collaboration with the TCAD team. Having cross-functional interactions to address device/array deficiencies with design/process/device teams. Contributing to the performance projections for the next generation of NAND technologies, based on data modeling, to ensure competitiveness. Supporting the qualification and transfer of the technology as needed. Updating the team and management on the status of the projects. Qualifications:Successful candidates for this position will have:A solid understanding of semiconductor devices and processes. Knowledge or experience with nonvolatile memories. Experience in NAND array electrical characterization or a strong willingness to learn. Coding skills to characterize and model cell/array properties.

Typical platforms/languages used: JMP, MATLAB, PERL, PYTHON. A good understanding of statistics. Problem-solving skills and a drive for results. A strong attitude to work on cross-functional teams.
