National Cell Therapy Therapeutic Specialist, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia

Kite, a Gilead company is a market leader in cellular immunotherapies for hematologic malignancies and has an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced field-based hybrid role with both promotional and non-promotional responsibilities.
Background:
ALL is a rare complex and highly specialised disease with limited cross-over with other Kite indications.
This is therefore a new national field role that is dedicated to ALL and is supposed to ensure strong cross-functional collaboration and be a driving force to ensure correct and smooth patient journey and CAR-T usage.
- Main Responsibilities:_
- Engage with clinicians and national groups to understand disease landscape
- Help shape disease area strategies with the cross functional team and identify opportunities to deliver value for patients
- Ensure the promotion and proper use of cell therapy drugs to healthcare institutions and to any professional, authorized to prescribe, dispense and use these drugs, in compliance with ethical and internal compliance rules, pharmaceutical regulations and according to the strategy determined by the company.
- Provide support for the development and implementation of the Care Pathway strategy and, in accordance with the product strategy put in place, of campaigns focused on patient journey and on the needs of healthcare professionals
- Contributing to the development and implementation of ALL marketing strategy (including but not limited to brand POA, KOL/Congress plan, competitive positioning and messaging)
- Supporting the development of marketing tools to drive utilization of Kite products
- Utilize a cross-functional account management approach to leverage resources and expertise from across the wider team
- Accountable for implementing and executing effective customer engagement strategies and field action plans, utilizing a multi-channel approach and building clinical advocacy
- Proactively differentiating and building HCP / KOL knowledge
- Building longer-term partnerships and acting as the central point of contact or all internal and external stakeholders
**Skills**:
- Scientific university degree with at least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- ALL expertise is a must; experience in rare diseases is a plus
- Works independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing/changing environment
- Multi-tasking and project management capability
- Works in a team and cross-functionally
- Leadership and natural authority to take initiative
- Appetite and ability to grasp a complex scientific field
- Successful experience with hospital product launch
- Perfect knowledge of hospital structures, ability to navigate a matrix universe and manage different stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects at different advanced stages and ensure a balance in the distribution of activities and time management.
Taking initiative, constantly looking for adapted and flexible solutions
- Analytical ability i. e.
data exploration, comprehension and analysis and situation analysis
- Agility to address different leaders and interlocutors, to understand their expectations and to adapt one's responses and relationship
- Very high level of organization / respect of deadlines / compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and internal procedures
- Ability to handle urgent, ambiguous or complex situations and negotiation skills
- Very frequent travel to be expected (>80% of time)
- Preferred domicile location: North Italy
