**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Project General Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to work alongside the operations team and the project Branch Manager to:
- Gain and develop new customers
- Follow up existing accounts
- Prepare Company's presentations
Furthermore, the BDM will have to deal specifically with the following activities:
Sales support:
- Replying to requests for quotation by network and Italian Clients
- Replying to tenders originating from overseas Bolloré branches and related to the industry (technical and commercial features)
- Replying to tenders issued by European customer base
Marketing:
- Defining marketing tools along with our Marketing dept (on-line offers, brochure, etc.
)
- Attending to industry events (shows, meeting, etc.
)
Reporting:
- Using CONCERTO as internal reporting tool for his/her direct portfolio
- Issuing monthly activity report
**Applicant's Profile
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in international Freight forwarding business.
Operational know-how in air/sea freight is mandatory.
- Strong sales abilities.
- Availability to travel in Italy and in Europe.
- Excellent knowledge of Industrial Project Industry and qualified personal contacts.
- Good communication skills both written and spoken in English and Italian.
- Ability to manage his/her own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Stress resistant - Can handle prioritizing activities under pressure from different interests
- Pro-active and positive.
He/she can work independently on own initiative and supervision.
