We are looking for a National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist for our Milano office.

- ** Your Role **:National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist works within the Road Logistics Function.

The Road Logistics in Kuehne + Nagel is a fundamental asset and provides Road shipping and Road forwarding solutions to achieve customer performance goals.

Partners with Clients belonging to a wide spectrum of industries (Pharma Healthcare, Perishables, Project Logistics, Automotive, Industrial and High Tech) and offers a wide range of tailor-made and end-to-end services

- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Steer and co-ordinate customer requests for proposals for defined road logistics tenders and industries

- Manage the company's responses to customer requests for quotations with the target to gain or retain business by preparing competitive and attractive proposals to the customers.

- Engage with local / national tender teams and Functional Units to develop competitive pricing models on tender projects and translate it into customer pricing templates incl.

checking received rates for consistency, plausibility, market logic.

- Develop pricing validation and a benchmark process to increase efficiency and the success rate of customer proposals

- Prepare structured, professional answers to tenders that are tailored to the specific requirements of the customers, and assure that the agreed terms and conditions are in line with the general policies.

- Carry out its works in accordance with policies, objectives and Management System documents of Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Strong Road logistics knowledge, especially pricing and calculation experience in road logistics.

- Degree from university in business-related fields

- Experience in working on large tenders either for a logistics service provider company or as supply chain expert for a large road logistics company with significant road transport volumes.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Highly motivated to pursue new business opportunities

- Fluent in Italian.

Good English communication skills
