Our Client is a prestigious multinational company operating in the advanced naval technologies sector.

With the aim of strengthening the Engineering Department, we have been tasked with selecting the following professional figure:

Naval Architect

The Naval Architect is an engineer that is experienced in Naval Architecture, able to master the key factors of success for Naval Ship Design:

Management using MS Excel and Doors (or Jazz);Pre-design phase, based on design key drivers;GA architecture (eventually from scratch) integrating the logics of multiple flows;Hull form design, including its generation using dedicated software;Hydrodynamics (through usage of various methods);Stability using dedicated software;Structure definition and scantling;Propulsion overall design.

Besides, He/She should have a good knowledge of Naval Vessels, especially Surface Combatant Classes, and Class Rules (in particular Naval ones).

Requirements Master's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering;Professional English (speaking, writing, and reading);Mastering CAD software, in particular Rhinoceros, Autocad, Maxsurf (Microstation and Aveva Marine would be a plus);Able to subcontract specific studies and work in a multinational context. Location: Genoa (Italy), with some travel in both Italy and France.
