Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30, 000 people of over 120 nationalities Whitin the Business Line Offshore Wind/Asset Based Services is looking for a NAVAL HYDRODYNAMIC & MOORING ENGINEER As Naval Hydrodynamic & Mooring Engineer, you will join our Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services Engineering Department, in the business line Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services, conducting the following activities: - Perform the hydrodynamic & mooring engineering activities in accordance with Floating Wind Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule & quality standards; - Perform various Hydrodynamic Analyses including towing analysis of subsea / offshore structures, stability analysis, motion analysis to support the selection of most suitable configuration of Floating Offshore Wind Platforms (FOWP) supporting Wind Turbine Generators (WTG); - Maintain and develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic, hydrodynamics, mooring design in extreme and in fatigue, installation engineering, DP and coupled analysis for wind turbine); - Perform design analysis and review of permanent mooring and as well as temporary mooring systems; - Planning, co-ordination and control of all hydrodynamic and mooring technical activities; - Preparation/Check of engineering deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports.

REQUISITES - Degree in Naval Engineering discipline - Experience at least 5 years in similar positions - Flueen English (written and spoken), additional languages are desirable - Knowledge of complex numerical analyses techniques, mooring design (extreme & fatigue), coupling effects between Wind Turbine Generator and Floating Offshore Wind Platform, non-linear hydrodynamic analyses, stochastic approach - Ability to simulate Wind Turbine behaviour using Bladed software or equivalent - Detailed knowledge of Finite Elements calculation tools Location : Milano HO.
