As Naval Hydrodynamic & Mooring Engineer, you will join our Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services Engineering Department, in the business line Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services, conducting the following activities:Perform hydrodynamic & mooring engineering activities in accordance with Floating Wind Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule & quality standards;Conduct various Hydrodynamic Analyses including towing analysis of subsea/offshore structures, stability analysis, and motion analysis to support the selection of the most suitable configuration of Floating Offshore Wind Platforms (FOWP) supporting Wind Turbine Generators (WTG);Maintain and develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic, hydrodynamics, mooring design in extreme and fatigue, installation engineering, DP and coupled analysis for wind turbine);Perform design analysis and review of permanent mooring as well as temporary mooring systems;Plan, coordinate, and control all hydrodynamic and mooring technical activities;Prepare/check engineering deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports). REQUISITESDegree in Naval Engineering disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in similar positionsFluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages are desirableKnowledge of complex numerical analyses techniques, mooring design (extreme & fatigue), coupling effects between Wind Turbine Generator and Floating Offshore Wind Platform, non-linear hydrodynamic analyses, stochastic approachAbility to simulate Wind Turbine behaviour using Bladed software or equivalentDetailed knowledge of Finite Elements calculation toolsLOCATIONMilan, Italy (possible trips to other offices and offshore sites)LABOUR RELATIONSHIPPermanent Contract #J-18808-Ljbffr
