For our office in Milan we are looking for Network Specialist!

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with department heads and IT staff to create and implement network solutions

Ensure the stability and integrity of internal voice, data, video and wireless network services

Manage local networks (Campus LAN and WLAN) throughout the organization

Create and maintain network configuration, network inventory, network mapping (processes and services) documentation

Define disaster-recovery and backup operations of network equipment

Perform troubleshooting activities on Level 2 and Level 3 equipment

Monitor network performance to decide whether changes are necessary

Plan, install and test network devices

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Robotic Engineering or Management Engineering.

The following technical skills are also required:

Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of LAN, WLAN, firewall, router, and switch networking systems

Advanced knowledge of Enterprise network architectures and services

Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite including IP, VRRP, 802. 1q, STP, OSPF, DHCP and DNS

Advanced knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure (legacy, virtualized, cloud)

Ability in implementing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and keeping existing systems updated as needed

Experience in analyzing and identifying network problems and providing solutions to ensure that they operate effectively

Experience in writing instruction manuals to help employees use the network and solve common problems

Advanced knowledge on issues related to network security

Experience configuring firewalls, routers, and switches

Certifications:

Certifications in Networking or Network Security

Nice to have:

Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE4)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges

Strong propensity for innovation

Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English

Excellent communication skills and teamwork
