Job purposeBarilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Network & Communication Sr Analyst, within the Infrastructure & Communications unit based in Parma.

The individual will report to the Network & Communication Sr Manager. The role will contribute to the global network and communication infrastructure deployment and management, through the support to technical initiatives proposal and design, the management of local implementation projects and the support to tenders and suppliers management, in compliance with Group and regulatory IT standards and the assigned project budget. Key Accountabilities  •     Support the technical evolution of the network and communication infrastructures, through the proposition of technological ideas and innovations in support of the definition of technical evolution initiatives.

•     Support the design and development of the Group network and communication infrastructures, systems and support services, from both business needs and IT improvements projects, collaborating in the analysis, development and proposal of technical solutions.

•     Manage directly the design of local network projects, according to the superior assignment.

•     Contribute to the global deployment of the network and communication system projects.

•     Manage the implementation of the local projects, acting as project manager.

•     Support the on deployment of local and global projects, managing accordingly the assigned resources, budget and external providers to achieve project objectives.

•     Support the second level troubleshooting service, collaborating with the Network and Communication Associate Manager in the external suppliers management, support and service level agreement observance control •     Participate to the development and analysis of the network and communication architecture technical testing, supporting the external providers in order to achieve the service level agreement standards •     Contribute to the tenders and suppliers management processes, supporting the suppliers scouting, selection and evaluation processes and continuously monitoring the service level agreements observance, in collaboration with Group Purchasing and IT Contracting & Compliance Functions and the external suppliers certification firm •     Contribute to the effective management and continuous improvement of the network service operations through the coordination of the external providers, the control of the service levels observance and the expenses costs in alignment with the contractual agreements and Group Policies.

•     Collaborate to assure the compliance with the IT sites operations safety, acting as safety person in charge, through the implementation of the guidelines and procedures defined by the Group Global Quality, Food, Safety & Tech Regulatory Function and the controlling of their observance, in compliance with Group policies and the applicable regulations.

•     Collaborate to the network and communication infrastructures IT security, in collaboration with IT Security Function, implementing the related procedures, ensuring their observance and reporting the non-conformity cases •     Manage the security and the compliance of the network and communication services, through the application of the Group policies and procedures and the monitoring of their observance, in alignment with the applicable regulationRequirements •     University degree in Electronics Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science •     1-2 years previous experience of with similar responsibilities in a structured company environment is preferred •     Knowledge and understanding of network communication protocols and architectures •     Proficient understanding of physical network infrastructure •     Good knowledge of network technologies (LAN-WAN-Collaboration-Network Security), in particular: most common industrial automation/networking frameworks and protocols Routing and switching Wi-Fi infrastructure LAN and Data Center (On-prem and Cloud) architecture Most common WAN protocols & architectures Network security architectures and solutions like NGFW, WAF, VPN, NAC, AAA, SASE/SIG.

Unified Communication (VoIP)and Video Conferencing Most common Performance Monitoring and Network Management Tools•     One of the following certifications is welcome: Cisco CCNA, CCNP •     Excellent knowledge of English and Italian •     Strong team-working attitude, problem solving and ability to work under pressure •     Attitude to investigate and evaluate different solutions.

Contract offered: Full time, local contract.
