We are searching for an experienced Network Control Manager (Air Cargo Industry) at our Malpensa Office.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all MSC network operations in conjunction with operating partners.
- Maintain continuous and proactive communication with operating partners' operations control centers, ensuring up-to-date information flow and prioritizing MSC Air Cargo's best business interests.
- Track on-time performance (OTP) of operating partners, report on OTP, and develop initiatives to improve OTP, delivering as promised to customers.
- Develop and execute IROP (Irregular Operations) control and communication procedures and regularly report on network status to the MSC team globally.
- Coordinate with the commercial team to adjust routings where possible to limit secondary delays.
- Participate in collaborative decision-making processes with all stakeholders and provide cross-departmental support as required.
- Manage various projects from pre-planning through change management implementation as requested by the Head of Network, Planning & ACMI.
- Collaborate with other departments and leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects that improve MSC Air Cargo's service or reduce overall costs.
- Ensure operating partners meet contractually agreed service levels and standards.
- Coordinate daily flight activity with operating partners and MSC Air OCC.
- Manage ad-hoc charter and commercial diversion opportunities.
- Assist in the reconciliation of operating partners' invoicing.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network control, airline operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of airline operations, network control, and irregular operations (IROP) management.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using operations control and scheduling software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Strong commercial and customer orientation.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English; further languages would be advantageous.
