Network Engineer role || Only FREELANCE/VAT CONTRACTORS || End User || Long Project || Italian is a MUST || Role purpose: The candidate, within the Network Team, will support, maintain and participate on network projects Key Responsibilities: - Ensure inter team adoption of best practices and encourage consistency in approach.

- Support a team of infrastructure engineers to build, deliver and maintain a world class infrastructure platform that meets agreed SLA expectations.

- Acquire strong technical understanding of *** Network - Participate on technical decisions and help to drive continuous improvement within the *** Network Infrastructure.

- Network infrastructure implementation and maintenance both, Data Centres and Branch Offices.

- WAN/LAN network configuration and troubleshooting.

- Support LAN, WLAN, and Collaboration, networks.

- Engage with MPLS, Internet, providers to identify, troubleshoot faults and follow up via a ticketing system.

- General Second Level support activities with NOC personnel.

Skills and experience: - Excellent knowledge of the concept of LAN and WAN networks.

- Good knowledge of network infrastructure (routing e switching) based on Cisco technologies (desirable) - Automation driven attitude - Ability to define and obtain adoption of new process - Ability to produce accurate and complete documentation in a timely manner - Attention to details, ability to perform daily health checks and act accordingly.

- Experience with Network Monitoring and alerting solutions (Solar Winds preferable).

- Experience in working for a true global 24x7 organisation - Knowledge of NAC products - SD-WAN principles - Cybersecurity principles - Fluent in English The following will be considered a plus: - Cisco CCNA Certification.

- On-call availability - Basic Terraform, Ansible scripting - Availability to travel.

- Working hours Flexibility (Out of Hours / Weekend work may be required in certain projects) - Ability to work in a team in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Location: Emilia Romagna (mandatory at least 2-3 days in office) Full time e full remote - 12 months plus renewal Daily Rate between 280 and 350 € english contract
