Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: ICT Security Specialist Posting Date: 3 Mar 2025 City: Roma Location: Roma, IT, 144 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Level of experience: Junior RINA is currently recruiting for a ICT Security Specialist to join its office in ROME within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division. Mission The resource will be involved in configuration, hardening and management of IT environments, as well as carrying out security assessments of critical infrastructures. Key Accountabilities Administration and hardening of Windows (Active Directory, GPO) and Linux systems. Configuration and management of security policies in enterprise environments. Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment activities on networks, systems and applications. Safety assessments at customers, including industrial and maritime contexts. Vulnerability analysis and reporting with remediation suggestions. Support in the implementation of security solutions and best practices. Training and advising customers on cybersecurity solutions. Consulting on security technologies (CyberArk, Tenable, Splunk, SentinelOne). Education Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Qualifications Experience in Windows/Linux system administration with focus on security. Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO and hardening policies. Skills in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. Basic knowledge of networking (protocols, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS). Availability to travel on-site for assessment and consultancy activities. Proactive mentality, technological curiosity and desire for professional growth. Interest and motivation in achieving vendor certifications. Knowledge of ESXi/VMware and VCenter operating system. Knowledge of use and configuration of Oracle ZFS Storage and StorageTek Tape Library. Knowledge of main Linux server services (postfix, ssh, dns, nis, dhcp, radius etc. ). Use and management of IT security software (Webscanner, Metasploit, SQLmap, Fail2Ban, OSSEC etc. ). Knowledge of iLO/IDRAC for server management (HW configuration, monitoring and control). Basic knowledge of programming using shell scripting (bash, python). Knowledge of Networking and management of network equipment (switches, routers, etc. ). Knowledge of the principles of configuration and use of Firewalls, in particular of Fortinet products. Knowledge of the principles of using Docker technology and containerization. Knowledge of use and configuration of Kubernetes. Knowledge of the English language at least B2.
