**About the role
As a New Business Development Associate you will have the ownership of the development of the commercial relationship by building and maintaining revenue opportunity that generates revenue outcome.
You will be responsible for structuring long term commercial agreementst that are operationally feasible and aligned to our strategy.
You will report into the Head of Commercial and work closely with the Strategy Manager, Head of Grocery and Head of Account Management.
**Requirements**:
- Significant experience in sales, business development or account management.
- Analytical, attention to detail, project management and rigorous with deal pipeline and pristine client content (e. g.
proposals, order confirmations, briefings and debriefings)
- Entrepreneurial spirit - operational willingness to 'roll sleeves up' and build commercial process and tools from scratch
- Ambitious self starter, with drive to make things happen independently and through collaboration.
- Creative negotiation skills & experience in cross team stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving skills; effectively resolving issues that involve people and processes by using logic and common sense.
- Fluency in English verbal and written communication skills
