Consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesPrepare and service all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standardsActively share ideas, opinions, and suggestions in daily shift briefingsMaintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilageHave full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotionsBe aware of any shortages and communicate with Chef before the item runs outEnsure that recipe cards, production schedules, plating guides, photographs are current and posted and followedAnticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayReview the day's supplies and ensure that they are received and stored correctlyEnsure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipmentFollow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in a high-volume restaurant requiredDiploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline an assetStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible reliableWorking knowledge of weights, measures, and various cooking techniquesWorking knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation proceduresAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times #J-18808-Ljbffr
