- **Data Scientist II specialized in Natural Language Processing (NLP)** to develop machine learning solutions for a specific high-profile Italian customer.

In this role, you will be required to design and implement NLP machine learning solutions that are robust, observable and explainable. - To ensure success as a NLP Data Scientist II, you should have in-depth knowledge of statistics and classical machine learning.

In addition, experience with deep learning and NLP (including recent LLM developments) is required for this specific position.

Familiarity with MLOps practices and collaborative software development workflows is considered a plus.

**Salary**: € 37. 5K - 47. 5K**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes business requirements and determines a suitable solution autonomously, evaluating if an ML-based solution is feasible.

- Develops and fine-tunes models through reproducible experiments

- Builds ML solutions incorporating software engineering quality standards (SDLC) and data engineering best practices

- Participates in the technical design of features with guidance

- Understands and optimizes and monitors model performances.

- Prioritizes tasks with autonomy based on requirements and proper context.

**Requirements**:

- Italian Citizenship and background check clearance.

- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (Ph. D. preferred)

- Previous experience as a Data Scientist working with NLP (>2 years)

- Working knowledge of classical and deep-learning NLP techniques, including LLM-based approaches

- Knowledge of at least one machine learning framework (for example Tensorflow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and NLP toolkits such as Spacy.

- Good Knowledge of programming languages including advanced Python patterns.

- Familiarity with software lifecycle practices (testing, release, deploy) and git-based workflows

- Knowledge of MLOps practices.

- Ability to explain model biases and limitations to tech and non-technical audiences

- Good project management skills.

- Good communication skills.
