**1** **main Mission**:
Manage the PSC NPI process of Thales Milano, following the lines established by the Director of the Cluster SE.
As well as, managing the human teams involved in the process to meet the needs and expectations of the company, always collaborating with all the owners of the Cluster process to achieve the objectives.
Being part of the Thales management team, and working with all local process managers to achieve goals in all areas.
**2** **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Reporting**:
Hierarchically report to the Local Site Manager.
Functionally report to the regional Cluster NPI Manager
**Main role**:
NPI:
- The definition of the NPI Cluster map.
- The standard NPI processes of the Cluster.
- The standardization and harmonization of infrastructures defined by the Cluster and corporate standards (PSE).
- The implementation within the requested times for the changes and projects managed by the process.
- Coordination of the NPI process with the Customer Service, Technical Consultant, Order Engineering and Data Center processes.
- Monitoring of the process obtaining appropriate indicators to measure the objectives.
- The design, implementation and/or proposal of all the necessary improvements to reduce customization costs, technological improvements and the efficiency of the work teams.
- The efficient management of costs and budgets within the process.
- Participate for continuous improvement of productivity, throughput, inventory levels and WCE, in order to meet targeted goals.
- Control the annual budget to assure all necessary services, products, process, preventive maintenance trying to be cost effective.
- In achieving the objectives of the Cluster.
- In achieving the objectives of the Milano plant defined in the BPD.
- In achieving and improving the company's HSE and energy efficiency standards.

People and relations
- Ensure the relationships with other departments, clients, certification entities and external providers.
- Ensure positive relations with local authorities and customer representatives during site visits.
- Ensure strong synergy between Milano PSC/DCT and other Thales partners.
**3 QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Skills/Background**:
- High customer orientation, results, determination, strategy, perspective and flexibility.
- Analytical, organized and methodical person.
- With leadership and development skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution, good oral and written communication in the design and modification of processes.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and energetic person.
- Knowledge of banking cards activity, technical background
- Human relations
- Computer skills
**Experience / Proven records**:
- 3 years experience in project management of production processes and in industrial environments, preferably customization environments.
- minimum 1 year of experience in work teams
- Strong IT background.
- Knowledge of smart cards and/or banking card industry technical aspects will be a plus.
**Personality**:
- Communication and management skills
**Languages**:
- Fluent Italian speaking.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
**Education level**:
- Minimum engineering degree with manufacturing experience (Master's degree valued).
- Medium level of knowledge and preferably advanced, in continuous improvement of Agile methodologies.
- Medium level of knowledge about EFQM methodology and LEAN tools.
Knowledge in production processes.
- Knowledge of English at an expert level (minimum level B2 or equivalent corresponding to C1 of the Common European Framework).
