NPI (New Product Introduction) Quality Lead
Location: Breganze factory
JOB SUMMARY
The NPI Project Quality Lead acts as an ambassador of customer satisfaction in the project team.
NPI Lead is point-of-contact for all matters relating to Quality on the assigned project, providing input, guidance and support to the Project Team in order to ensure a consistent quality mindset and process adherence to ensure the successful launch of a new, high quality product in the market.
The role focuses on:failure prevention as well as minimizing the risk of associated costs to fix issues once the product is launched (internal rework, material scrap, warranty, field campaigns, loss of businesses, etc.
).
The job holder ensures quality target achievement throughout the project including line-in support in the assembly line.
The role supports the assembly line during "running changes" throughout a given model year production and it is responsible for supporting sustainable, quality focused processes for new product development and to support maturity level reporting and decision making.
**What You Will Do
- Actively participate in project core teams representing Quality organization
- Development of the project quality plan, assuring internal and supplier quality readiness, by interacting with the relevant Quality departments
- Coordination across sites, when working on multi-site projects
- Analysis of predecessor product quality performance (e. g. , warranty, claim rate, repair frequency, customer feedback, etc. )
and
- provision of input for the New Product Specification (NPS): current quality issues/opportunities
- Definition of quality targets and engagement with the project team to achieve those targets (i. e. , virtual builds, follow up on design, validation and solution implementation) in alignment with the Quality Manager of plant Breganze
- Management of the convergence process for RF improvement, ensuring seamless coordination between current maintenance and NPI activities in alignment with the Service Department of plant Breganze
- Coordination of new product review sessions (i. e. , Virtual builds, First Product Evaluation, Manufacturing Review, Product Audit)
- Reporting of quality readiness and KPIs at the different project stages
- Definition of quality related project investments (e. g: inspection and test equipment for Mfg. )
in alignment with the Quality Manager of plant Breganze
**What You Will Bring
- A minimum of 5 year experience in Quality or similar
- Experience in Advanced product quality planning (APQP)
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Fluent in English / Italian
**Who You Are
- Product development background
- Familiar with product engineering systems
- Experience in solving complex problems in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
**A Plus If You Have
- Experience with virtual builds, simulation, product validation and agriculture background are a plus.
