Nurse Director - Leatherman, FT Job Description Summary The Department Director is responsible for the oversight of one or more assigned departments or units. Responsible for the patient care provided in their assigned areas. Responsible for resource management, including but not limited to human resources, materials and financial resources. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including enforcement of corporate and facility policies as well as the development and enforcement of department specific policies. Responsible for customer, employee and physician satisfaction initiatives.

Work Shift Job Description The Department Director is responsible for the oversight of one or more assigned departments or units. Responsible for the patient care provided in their assigned areas. Responsible for customer, employee and physician satisfaction initiatives.

Additional Job Description Education: Bachelor's Degree or in process of achieving degree. Masters degree preferred.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in area of responsibility. 1 to 3 years leadership experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates: RN Licensure in South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement. Certification in area of responsibility preferred.

AHA BLS Certification
