JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

Develop and Execute sourcing plans leading supplier thorough negotiations about contracts and prices with the objective to manage costs and risks.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES**:

- Develop and execute sourcing plans including adequate risk assessment, following AFA (Oakley and Costa del mar) supplier strategy.

- Lead supplier related contract negotiations

- Lead price negotiations, identify efficiencies and manage costing optimization activities

- Implement and maintain risk management for supplier base, contracting and manufacturing agreements.

- Act as key contact to Development and Product Management Teams during development stage and to Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial Teams during production and delivery stage, a well as to the Sustainability Corporate Team.

- Ensure continuous KPI management and regular on-time reporting to Sourcing leadership and General Management

- Have a daily communication with our suppliers around the world to maintain our relationship and monitor the variation of prices through the development stage of the collections.

- Run weekly and monthly analysis on specific AFA Product Categories.

- Create insightful reports of your analysis to present to your manager and your team.

- You will support your team with the identification of new business opportunities, sustainable materials and definition of the collection to be produced.

**NETWORK OF INTERACTION**:

**INTERNAL : AFA team

**EXTERNAL **:Daily communication with our suppliers around the world to mantain our relationship and monitor the variation of prices through the development stage of the collections.

**TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

- 3-5 years of experience in similar roles preferably in the fashion / sportswear industry.

- Successful track record in cost reduction (Design-to-cost, Design to value, Value Engeering and predictive costing).

- Highly skilled using Microsoft Office Package, specifically Excel.

- Great communication skills (both fluent in English and Italian).

- Availability to travel - mainly to Far-East and South America.

- Passionate for sportswear.

- Great Team Player

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:

**Educational Background**:Preferably Master's level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Engineering similar/ Textile Management or comparable fields.
