Overview The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) implements treatment programs established by the occupational therapist for patients of all ages. Supervises ancillary staff in the delivery of patient care and with department activities.
A. EducationGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant curriculumB. ExperienceKnowledge of the occupational therapy profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and/or previous work experience in the fieldDemonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatricC.
