We are offering you to join our team as an **Ocean Freight Forwarder**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work on the existing requests and further development of sea transportation services (import/export related to Italy);

- Processing of requests, organization and control of the whole process of sea transportation;

- Communication with the real Customer concerning the organization and management of international cargo transportation (FCL);

- Communication with the shipping lines, clarification of transportation details;

- Making quotes under all the requests and Order Releases when Ordered;

- Creation of transport orders in Oracle Transport Management;

- Participation in tender preparations if needed.

**REQUEREMENTS**:

- 5+ years of proven experience in logistics operations (FCL);

- Profound knowledge of the Italian market;

- Experience with the organization of "door to door" sea/multimodal transportation;

- Experience with the direct communication with the Customer and the shipping lines;

- High level of writing and speaking English;

- Broadminded, out of the box thinking and ability to find nonstandard solutions.
