As Offshore Living Quarter Lead, you will join our Department/Function STARD, in the business line Asset Based Services (No Drilling), conducting the following activities:
MISSION:Lead the Offshore Building Engineering Team in performing its activities according to Project needs and requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
Maintain and develop technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution.
Ensure the capitalisation of Project experience in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies.
TASKS:Bidding phase / Commercial proposal developmentAcquire and understand the project goals from Contract and Specific documentation. Define the discipline list of activities and deliverables and time schedule. Produce a detailed list of in/out critical information to be closely monitored. Prepare and perform the Architectural/HVAC design review. Define engineering man hour estimate. Support proposal department in technical clarification meetings with client. Define the architectural/HVAC materials quantities (MTO) and cost estimate. PROJECT EXECUTIONEnsure the achievement of assigned goals, the fulfilment of the project quality requirements and the contractual obligations. Define the discipline list of activities, list of deliverables, time schedule. Take any corrective action within the Specialist group necessary for this purpose or report to Technical Manager the need for design changes that could entail contractual changes. Be the technical reference for Specialist and Designers and ensure participation in interdisciplinary activities. Monitor and report actual progress / check for discipline activities, including control of men-hours quantities and delivered documents. Approve subcontractor progress payments. Suggest suitable actions to prevent, absorb or minimize any deviation in terms of time and costs. Coordinate the evaluation of the design changes to the original scope of work and verify the implementation of approved ones. Ensure the controlled management of the documents within area of responsibility, including suppliers documentation. Coordinate internal review activities and interdisciplinary check meetings. Report to the project staff and support project management in technical interface with clients. Check technical evaluations, support buyer if needed, check and approve specifications for order. Provide support to procurement to define supply change order (together with Purchasing Team). Participate in pre-inspection meeting at vendor facilities. Assist construction activity providing information and clarification through vendors. Support architectural superintendent and field engineer for modification definition. Take part in site inspection, testing and quality controls if needed. QUALIFICATION:Engineering Bachelor Degree;
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE:Minimum required level B1;
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:Minimum required 5 years;
IT SKILLS:Office suite, Autocad;
SOFT SKILLS:Problem solving, communication, teamworking.
NICE TO HAVE:SAP.
