Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Diagnostic Offshore & Platform Engineer to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.

The Diagnostic Offshore and Platform Engineer reports to the Manager of the Diagnostic & Offshore Platforms function and will be responsible for technical tasks such as: writing procedures, providing support to internal and external clients, being the technical expert for all concerns regarding offshore platforms, testing and fault location of High Voltage cables and Fibre Optic ones.

Design electrical and optical tests to identify faults and diagnose the functionalities of HV submarine cables. Design and execute on-site fault location for optical fibers and power cables. Design cable installation on offshore platforms and offshore wind turbines. Support during the execution phase of the offshore platforms and wind towers cable installation activities. Provide inputs during the tender phase to the proposal engineers related to her/his area of expertise and lessons learned from previous projects. You are the right fit if you have/are: Fluent in EnglishA master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or similar Degrees. Preferably previous work experience on electrical testing or general platform activities of 2-4 years within offshore environmentAvailability to travel at short notice for short periods of timeDriving license. Leadership attitude. Good communication skills and relationship approach with ClientsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with an attitude to manage priorities in coordination with Management. Strong teamwork skills, results-oriented and ambitious mindset.
