No Offer Description One of the most important characteristics of human beings lies in their ability to develop tools and technologies that enable them to expand their capabilities. The neurocognitive basis of technical cognition and the information integration mechanisms of action reappraisal will be investigated by developing ad hoc experiments with behavioral and eye-tracking paradigms. In particular, the visual recognition of prototypical or non-prototypical, functionally related object-tool pairs and the role of knowledge and experience in free-to-look-at tasks with different types of tools (commonly known and used, known but sporadically used, and unknown tools) will be investigated. The candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments and participating in data analysis and report writing.
