We are looking for a On-Trade Manager (Beluga Vodka) in Milan/Roma
The ideal candidate should embody a "can do" attitude, be hardworking, and possess in-depth knowledge of the on-trade spirits industry, particularly in the cocktail culture.
Previous experience as a bartender/bar manager and familiarity with marketing/activation management are highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will report to the Regional Director and functionally to Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities and ActivitiesAssist the commercial team in building the brand through training, tastings, and marketing activities. Manage the Top on-trade active accounts, ensuring Beluga availability. Negotiate and provide listings for flagship accounts, ensuring excellent brand visibility. Seek relevant brand partnerships, align them with Beluga HQ, and manage execution. Arrange and manage events, brand activations, and promotions. Negotiate and help execute customized brandings in agreed On & Off Trade accounts. Organize and conduct staff trainings and tastings. Represent the brand in selected trade end consumer events. Assist the commercial team in the preparation of brand/marketing plans. Identify newly opened and planned on- and off-trade accounts and provide regular reporting. Activations, events, degustation's, tasting organization, on-premises menus, Epicure and BGL listings (important task). Establish close relationships with the bar industry. Participate in events, conduct trainings, masterclasses, ensure club presence, and handle testing for top clients. Exclusively work for the Beluga brand. Marketing and sales reporting, collaborating with embassies, GL, and managing on-trade activations. Requirements:High education in Economics/Marketing/Management. 3+ years of experience in the spirit industry/experience with premium brands (preferably in FMCG). Previous experience in HORECA sales/marketing/activation management. Goal-oriented with effective project management experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Clear understanding of marketing projects budgeting principles and financial discipline. Fluent in English and Italian. Well-organized, self-motivated, with strong organizational and reporting skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Italy. Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate should have:
Good knowledge of the on-trade spirits industry and cocktail culture. Well-organized, self-motivated, with strong organizational and reporting skills. Understanding of the super-premium/luxury market. Ability to capture audience attention, with an established reputation among local bartenders.
