Onboard Marketing & Content Management Specialist

Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six ships, with EXPLORA I currently sailing, are being built and designed in a different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
The Onboard Marketing & Content Management Specialist, based in our offices in Naples, Italy, will be responsible for developing marketing assets, campaigns, tools and systems to support our guests' experience on board our fleet.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in Marketing-/Brand management Luxury, hospitality or cruise industry background is preferred;
- Solid marketing skills at the corporate level
- including toolkit development and production of assets;
- Fluent in oral and written English; any other European language is considered a plus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and in graphic design; experience in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is considered an advantage;
- Master's degree in Business Administration-/marketing-/digital or related fields is considered an advantage;
- Structured and well-organized approach to tasks and projects with attention to detail;
- Ability to seamlessly transition from strategic thinking to operational tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners.
- Work in accordance with Corporate Marketing guidelines to support the development and delivery of marketing content and assets for the onboard operations of the Explora Journeys' fleet, ensuring they align with brand standards, are delivered within budget, and meet required deadlines;
- Collaborate closely with corporate and onboard teams to maintain consistent branding and messaging across all on board marketing materials and touchpoints, overseeing content updates and revisions as necessary;
- Brief and coordinate external agencies for the development and production of assets including brochures, signage, videos, and promotional materials;
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans to promote onboard amenities, activities, and experiences to guests, with a focus on driving onboard revenue generation and enhancing guest satisfaction;
- Manage and maintain content on various platforms and touchpoints, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand standard, including the onboard Content Management System (CMS), in-suite TV, digital screens, mobile app, and on board entertainment content library;
- Ensure the consistency and accuracy of information and on-brand content in English and oversee the translation process of key assets in core languages;
- Monitor and analyse the guest journey to identify opportunities for enhancing communication effectiveness, proactively suggesting ways to improve it;
- Provide support to onboard crew members through training, guidance and resources, while also ensuring the proper maintenance and utilization of marketing assets.
