ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION

**This role in summary**:

The Operation Manager will guarantee the operative management of Factory functions in order to ensure the implementation of production plans.

Achieve the effective running of production following WCM strategy implementation within the perimeter of the factory.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead factory organization to achieve world class performance in terms of quality, costs & productivity, flexibility, customer satisfaction and employee involvement

- Guarantee operations management of assigned area/defined product family to ensure realisation of production plans.

- Manages productive hours and efficiency of assigned area in terms of manpower management, costs, quality, productivity.

- Leads Help Chain to ensure operative performance of the area of competence, promoting cooperation with all functions to ensure and maintain the best efficient and effective way of problem solving and continuous improvement.

- Leads Group Leaders' growth ensuring execution of the entire team compliant with EHS rules.

- Guides Group Leaders in goals achievement seeking to be aligned with the Leadership Model and inspire GL for inclusion and transparency.

- Creates synergy between all functions of the plant looking together for smart solutions, prevents issues and gives a valid contribution to the innovation route map of the plant.

(Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, Logistics).

- Main KPI are: Production Efficiency, Assembly Yield/OEE, scrap

**Minimum requirements**:

- Good standard of Health and Safety awareness

- Previous experience in a similar position

- Strong experience in people management

- Team working attitudes

- Interpersonal communication

- Leadership skills

- Problem solving

- Be able to work under pressure and as part of the practical processes

**Preferred skills and experiences**:

- Degree in Engineering or similar (particular focus on Mechanical, Industrial or Technological specializations) or equivalent culture

- WCM: AM/WO, Safety, LCS, CD, Quality, PM

- English language proficiency
