Position Overview:As an Operational Buyer you will play a critical role in the Essential Oil business, focused on managing raw material and packaging procurement processes to support profitable growth. You will analyze forecasts, assess stock levels, identify potential shortages, and facilitate strategic purchasing opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:Forecast Review and Stock Assessment:

Review daily forecasts for raw material requirements to ensure agreement on production schedules;Assess current stock levels of raw materials and packaging, identifying discrepancies and ensuring supply to meet operational needs. Shortage Identification and Action Planning:

Identify and discuss potential raw material shortages, evaluating their impact on production and operations;Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and implement action plans for addressing identified shortages. Meet Documentation and Stakeholder Communication:

Document meeting outcomes and action items, distributing minutes to all stakeholders to ensure transparency and facilitate follow-up. Strategic Procurement Opportunities:

Conduct analysis to identify strategic raw material procurement opportunities that align with business objectives;Prepare relevant data and insights to support discussions on identified opportunities. Lead regular meetings, ensuring participation from key stakeholders, including the Site Team, Regional Procurement, and Sales;Present identified opportunities and facilitate discussions to gather input and feedback from participants. Procurement Request Process:

Initiate the procurement request process by raising Purchase Requisitions (PR) in the company ERP system, ensuring all necessary details are entered;Compile relevant PR information to ensure PO approval, including justifications for purchases and associated documentation;Communicate compiled PO information to the Procurement team by email, ensuring clarity and completeness for their review and processing;Monitor for confirmation of receipt from Procurement and address any questions or additional information requests regarding the PO;Provide inputs to Logistics to ensure raw material reception on Site. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience - 2 to 3 years - in procurement or supply chain roles, within the essential oils or food industries. Fluent in Italian and English. Interpret data and make informed decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in procurement software (e. g. SAP) is good to have.
